Where The Light Found Me

I didn't plan this shot. It found me. 

We were inside a barn in Colorado when the light broke through the open door and caught the dust just right — wrapping a cowboy and his horse in something that didn't feel accidental. It felt given. Bestowed. An unearned gift. 

I've thought a lot about what it means to make art. The best frames I've ever captured weren't planned. They were moments where I showed up, stayed ready, and something bigger than me took over. In my humble opinion, a direct collaboration with the Lord. This was one of those moments. The Bible says He holds my right hand — and I believe it. I felt it here. He is always leading me.

What you're looking at is a cowboy and his horse silhouetted in a beam of light inside a dark barn. But what I hope you feel is something older than that. Awe. Wonder. The quiet certainty that there's a hand in things.

This print belongs on the wall of someone who wants to be reminded daily that goodness and mercy will pursue them all the days of their life.
