Like Father Like Son - Limited 24hr Print Drop - Black History Month
In celebration of Black History Month, this release gives back to the legacy of Black cowboys. 100% of profits will be donated to Project 2020 Foundation, whose work preserves the historic Freedman’s town of Boley, Oklahoma, and sustains the nation’s longest-running Black rodeo — the Boley Rodeo — a living testament to endurance, enterprise, and joy.
From the artist:
“Behind the chutes of the historic Boley rodeo arena, two men sit shoulder to shoulder on the fence — father and son, as I later learned. Their bond was undeniable. They laughed between themselves, joyful yet focused, steady, & calm before the mission - riding a bull for 8 seconds.
To me, this image speaks to prosperity, courage, and fatherhood. It captures a quiet exchange between generations — where strength, bravery, and legacy is passed not just through lineage, but through example.”
